With every student I’ve worked with I’ve found that the key to truly appreciating the creative joys of art (whether it be writing, drama, film or painting) is to make clear the inexorable link between the basics of reading and writing and creative freedom. It is my belief that every student can become an avid reader and an excellent writer given the proper motivation and environment. I try to foster such an environment through creating goal oriented lesson plans that result in tangible achievements that show clear progress in learning at the end of every session. Through this, I strive to make reading comprehension and writing exercises a fun and exciting part of a child’s creative development.

AAS in Business Management and Certificate Level 1 in Business Administrative. I understand the importance of getting to know students on an individual basis, as everyone will learn in a different way. With art specifically, I believe it's important to be helpful and supportive while encouraging new ideas and new techniques. In teaching art, I believe one should work hands-on with the student and the chosen materials, but still introduce theories and ideas about the choices being made to give further meaning to the work. The best art instruction comes from those who are open-minded and allow creativity to blossom while advancing technique. These philosophies are what I strive for in my instruction.
