Composition is one of my top subjects!

I have taught (intermittently) college level English for 20 years. I have also taught ESL in public schools for 8 years. I now tutor on my own time any age level and anything related to English---including helping people finish memoirs or other books/novels. I am also a writer, working on a novel and screenplays/stageplays. I also write for local publications.

I have been writing for my whole life, and have a love of the art that is description. Since Mich of humanity's understanding is based on metaphor, description and its subtleties is a key part of any writing process, be it creative or instructional.My favorite form of writing is creative, however I also enjoy writing essays and other pieces based on fact. They need to know why and where in their lives they will need or be using what they are being taught.
