I'm very eager to teach. I love to be able to help children succeed and learn new things. I do whatever it takes to make this happen, and adjust my style as needed for each student. I like to make a difference, especially through education.
After receiving my bachelor's degree, I went to school part time to work on my Master's degree while subbing in area schools. I accepted a position as a teaching assistant, and two long term positions. I also tutored a junior high school student in all subjects.

Throughout my four years at Siena College i have been involved in the tutoring done by the Siena College physics club. this tutoring has been all general and specific fields of math and science. I have covered such fields as math through differential equations, general physics through relativity and modern, and general chemistry. I also have knowledge of advanced physics courses such as solid state physics, electrodynamics, advanced mechanics, and quantum mechanics.

I very much enjoy teaching both children and young adults. It gives me great satisfaction in helping others achieve a higher level of knowledge and skills. In addition, I feel that tutoring is a two-way street, whereby both the student learns material from the tutor, while at the same time the tutor learns how to better present the material in a way that is conducive for the student's learning. I have a BS in Elementary Education with a GPA of 3.86 and a MS in Special Education with a GPA of 3.93. I value education and I have had a lot of experience with it. During graduate school I completed two six-month internships working full time in the classroom. I have spent the past three years as a substitute teacher in local schools. I was hired by a school district for two two-month long-term substitute positions. I was also hired as a private tutor for two students who were suspended from school. During my undergrad I worked as a tutor at a local high school and was a math tutor at my college.
