A Little Bit About Me...

While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I had all Math courses up to and including Advanced Algebra. While attending Adirondack Community College, I had to take a Medical Math course that covered many conversions.
I love teaching and working with children and adults. I, myself have achieved a high level of excellence in education by completing two degrees and plan on completing my BS in Nursing. I believe in teaching through demonstration and by providing an optimal atmosphere for learning. I strive to make a difference in other peoples' lives and that is why I chose to become a nurse.

A Little Bit About Me...

teaching is something that, to me, is unique when dealing with science education. When dealing with science there are many different ways of looking at the same problem. It is important for the student to keep his or her view of the problem and to work off of that view, rather than to change the view to the teachers. This makes it much more interesting for the teacher to adapt to the different ways of learning for each student and to build their education off of how they view science.
Throughout my four years at Siena College i have been involved in the tutoring done by the Siena College physics club. this tutoring has been all general and specific fields of math and science. Having received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University and the University of California in the area of physical science (Atmospheric Science), I have attained a high level of knowledge in multiple areas ranging from Math and Science (particularly Physics) as well as Chemistry and Biology. In addition, while at Cornell University I earned a Minor in Communications focusing on both Written and Oral Communication. Regarding my abilities as a tutor, at Cornell I was employed as a Teaching Assistant for two upper level courses in the area of physical science.
