A Little Bit About Me...

As the Director of Curriculum and Program Development as well as the lead instructor for two music schools, my background has seen me teaching about 70 students a week while implementing several programs that focus on the quality and administration of all academic programs in the school. These programs offer opportunities for students to focus on songwriting with a strong emphasis on theory and applied musical knowledge. I'm a recent graduate from Brown University, with experience tutoring at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Math and Biology are my favorite things to teach--I love the subject matter and I love to see it "click" with students. In math, I received an 800 score on the SAT, and a score of 5 on each the Calculus AB and BC exams. I also tutored algebra as a high school student. I'm currently studying up on everything from Trig to Calculus II so that I can take a Multivariable Calculus class, so the material is fresh!
