I enjoy teaching and working with children. I understand that all children are different and learn in different ways. Because of this I try to tailor my teaching to the individual needs of the student. This, I have found through experience, allows the child to attain his or her maximum educational potential. My teaching style would be a hands-on approach. I believe that the success rate of learning is higher when the child is able to learn while doing an activity. Learning should be fun and altered to fit the needs of the child.
I love working with children, and helping them learn. Throughout my academic career I have mentored children of various ages, and helped the child with academic problem areas. One mentoring relationship was spent reading and working with the child on reading to improve thier skills.
