I became interested in teaching while I was working at Delphi Automotive. I trained my own staff while I was there. I have chosen to be a teacher because I believe I can make learning fun for my students. I like to relate subjects to each other so that students can see how everything is actually intertwined. I worked my way through college, working full-time and attending classes whenever possible. I graduated from Ohio State with a degree in mathematics, majoring in the field of Actuarial Science. So, I know the value of accomplishment through perseverance and determination. As a full-time employee, I deal with statistical data and clientele daily. I have excellent communication skills both oral and written and use these skills extensively dealing with the public.
