My teaching style is a combination of different methodologies based on the needs of the person whom I am teaching. No one style will fit all persons but the main methods that I use are discussion (Q&A) and hands-on. I like to use visuals such as pictures, slides, and other presentation methods to make the history and or subject more interactive and mentally stimulating as well as memorable. I believe that the more a student is active in the classroom using their five senses the more that they will process and retain. This system also translates to teaching. The last step is the most important; it forces the student to think for him or herself and instills confidence that the problem is not beyond his or her level of understanding.
