I like to teach using different strategies and methods, because I know all the students in the classroom are not going to learn the same way. I feel it is best to fully understand my content and standards. Then create lessons to teach the students in a way they will learn the material best for them. I try a variety of approaches to see what works with each student. If you have 25 students in a class, you can have 25 different learning styles. I believe a lot in hands-on and learning from others. Questions are always welcome. I continually do course work to keep up on new approaches. Being teachable is key. I have seen students I work with have success.
