I am a vibrant and enthusiastic ESL instructor with 16 years of experience. I received an MA in TESOL from Monash University (Australia) in 2001 and since then have taught English as a Second Language to numerous groups of very diverse backgrounds and various levels, from beginners to high intermediate to advanced,in Australia, Israel and the US. I hold a BA in Hebrew and Jewish studies as well, and taught Hebrew and Tanach in various Jewish schools in Melbourne. My expertise includes teaching English for Academic purposes at the university, Technical and Business English at Jerusalem College of Technology and private institutes. Most of my primary education experience involved me in music. I played the piano for 16 years, cello for 9 and self taught the violin and some other instruments. I prefer tutoring with stringed instruments. I then transitioned to sports like tennis and soccer. In college, after changing degrees a couple times, I graduated with a BS in Biology, minored in Chemistry with a Pre-Med certificate. Currently I am working on my own to sell patents with an Israeli scientist. On the side, I study Russian and Hebrew.
I have private tutored almost all throughout college, mostly because I had many international friends in desperate need for English help.
