My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I graduated from Columbia College of Chicago with a BA in Screenwriting, and I minored in Fiction Writing. Any form of writing, poetry or prose, film or television, is an absolute passion of mine. Can't get enough!

I received a B.A. in English from Northern Illinois University in 2010. I am a certified High School English teacher for grades 9-12. I took a class during my B.A. called Advanced Essay Composition and I feel like that shaped the way that I write; and took my practice to a whole new level. It is strategies and methods that I learned in this class that I try to incorporate in my writing and my teaching. I've worked in a residential/ school setting for the last three and a half years.
