Experience Summary
In addition to my collegiate degree in writing, I've worked on multiple occasions with the Big Idea Writers Challenge as a judge. Our job was to review contestants' entries and provide professional notes and constructive criticism. I've also worked outside that field with many friends, classmates, and family members to give helpful critiques and extensive notes sessions. And I'd absolutely love to broaden those horizons and help anyone who can use what I've learned to better their writing!

Teaching Style
While I'm trying to keep my expressions on here as professional as I can, I'm actually quite a quirky character. I love to laugh and enjoy life, and I do my best to bring that to my teaching. I'm not the serious, shove-your-nose-to-the-grindstone type teacher, because I earnestly believe people learn better in a relaxed, fun environment. I'm here to help YOU better comprehend what you're not fully understanding or even covering in a classroom setting. I adjust my pace and cater my lessons to meet each individual student's needs and wants.
My Hobbies
I love the outdoors. Whether it's going for walks/jogs, or camping, or hiking, time spent outside in the fresh air is never time wasted in my opinion. I love golf, video games, movies, reading, and of course, writing. I like puzzles to keep the mind occupied, and music to keep it free. I love baseball, no matter the team, but I'll forever be a Cubs fan at heart (some day!). I enjoy photography as well, though I'd hardly even consider myself an amateur (read: I suck). I also love to draw, but am equally as cursed in that arena. Writing's my true specialty!
Top Subjects
Creative Writing
I graduated from Columbia College of Chicago with a BA in Screenwriting, and I minored in Fiction Writing. Any form of writing, poetry or prose, film or television, is an absolute passion of mine. Can't get enough!
