I like to have a relationship with the students I tutored where they feel comfortable with me; I want them to be able to tell me the problems they're having with the work and what I can do to help. I like to be friendly with them while still being an authority figure where they want to do their best. I think this type of relationship allows me to push the students to their maximum limit without discouraging them when we're having a difficult session. I worked as a synthetic organic chemist at Eli Lilly pharmaceutical company for five years. I have a friendly teaching style; I use a lot of sense of humor. But, this takes a lot of hard work to achieve.
