I pride myself on being a very patient, caring person and love seeing children learn and have their eyes opened as to the possibilities that are there for them. I enjoy helping children learn and seeing the light come on for them as they gain understanding and knowledge. My children are grown and I am looking for a way to help younger ones learn, as I have helped my own children learn and grow to their full potential.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a student in Health Science, i.e. Medical Technology, I worked in a genetics laboratory for 14 years learning lab instrumentation, trouble-shooting, cytogenetics and professional etiquette. Lectures as well as public presentations of newly discovered genetic abnormalities was my passion. I truly enjoyed preparing and presenting these exciting talks. I decided to change careers and look into the education field. I have been working on obtaining my Alternative Teaching License and will complete my coursework for this by the end of May, 2011. History is my major, and having spent much of my youth on the European continent with my father's duty assignments, it is easy to teach the events that have led to the present situations.
