Social studies tutor that makes learning fun!

I am a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University with a B.A. in History. I am currently enrolled in my Masters in Secondary Education at Grand Canyon University Online. In addition I am in the process of becoming certified in New York State in Social Studies 7-12. In addition I have 10 plus years of Customer Service experience, and I am currently a Substitute Teacher at Northern Adirondack Central School grades k-12. In the past I have also been a one on one teacher's aide.
I love to teach, and making learning fun is my main goal. If learning isn't fun then the students get bored. Keeping it interesting is my style most kids love it!

I like explain the problem to the students and then let them work on few problems on their own. I would then correct the problems that the students were working on and ask if they need any questions. If the students have questions or if they did not get the right answer I would then go over the problems together with the students and have them practice until they have the strategy down.
I have been working for a local High School for 3 years now as an instructional assistant. Currently I have 3 math classes. I have 2 pre-algebra classes and one geometry. Last year I was a course assistant for a college freshman-year math course in theoretical math at Harvard University.
