My comments on tutoring Guitar : I have played guitar for over 30 years, can teach First Year guitar with high proficiency and get you started with second year guitar. I teach you how to read the guitar music (not just tabs). I am comfortable teaching 6year olds to adult on guitar.

I have taught PK- Exceptional student education for 10 years, K-12 music for 15 years, private piano for 25 years, private guitar for 10 years, private voice for 10 years and have also taught regular kindergarten, first grade and 6th grade, I am teaching Spanish now and I am bilingual (reading, writing and speaking). I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity College of Florida. I went on to pursue a Master’s of Arts degree in Intercultural Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary. Both of these degrees have equipped me for ministry, which is my passion. I also pursued a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language, which I received through the University of Cambridge. I have ten years of experience as an ESOL teacher. I began my career in Costa Rica in 2001 and upon returning to Sarasota began working for Sarasota County Technical Institute. I then moved to Barcelona, Spain to obtain the Cambridge CELTA certificate from International House and spent the next eight years teaching classes to all ages and levels. A Little Bit About Me...

My best trait as a tutor is that I will not give up on my student, even if they have given up on themselves. It is my belief that most concepts can be understood if taught properly, and relate the knowledge to them in a way that would make it simple. Through my experiences with my children I have acquired personal satisfaction from teaching. It is definitely very rewarding to see them gain confidence and understand a concept, especially after seeing them struggle with it.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have my professional certification in Elementary K-6 and Physical Education K-12. I recently taught Kindergarten and I have more than 30 years experience working with children of all ages. Along with teaching I have twice owned my own school and been the Director of many schools and summer camps. My strength has always been teaching Mathematics and I am taking the certification test next week.

After graduation, I accepted a position as an Adult Education Specialist; counseling and interacting with adults (18-65) returning to school for their GED's.
