I enjoy teaching and working with children and adults. My first experience in education was with children's music classes, and have since enjoyed the opportunity to teach adults at the community college level. I would describe my style as adaptive. A Little Bit About Me...

I have just recently finished a Masters program in music education at Central Michigan University. I have been teaching, tutoring, and mentoring students for 5 years. My experience ranges from after school tutoring to long term substitute positions. My specialty areas are lower brass pedagogy, Composition/arranging, and jazz. I have work as a trombone and brass instructor for two Marching band programs. I have also tutored students in math and reading I would like the opportunity to tell you more about my work experience and how my skill set could contribute to the education of your students.
I am an n interpersonal teacher. I work with students on a one on one basis. When explaining a concept I am very referential. I also use parallels to help students understand the concepts. I feel that participation and self assertion can be a strong learning tool for students.
