I have earned two degrees. At Georgia Southern University I recieved a B.S. in Nutrition/Food Sciences. While in Statesboro, ga completing my studies I served as an after school tutor for elementary students in the Bulluch County after school program. I recently graduated from Sanford Brown Institute in Atlanta, GA where I earned a degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology. A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at Kansas State University, I am currently enrolled in the Architectural Engineering degree and I am completing my last math class as of now. I believe I would be a great candidate for this position because I have recently taken the three calculus classes and now differential equations. Also, i have an extensive background in different fields of physics which broadens of the everyday use of math as well.

A Little Bit About Me...

Since my previous experience has been working with fairly non-traditional students, I would like to find a similar position. I have applied for several positions that have opened up in public schools and other agencies. I would like to see if I could work with younger children and adults and or with special needs students. A Little Bit About Me...

I have held informal teaching positions throughout my entire life. I have tutored everything from pre-algebra to Calculus to Piano. I'm currently employed as an after school tutor for middle school students, 6th grade to 8th, and independently tutor on Saturdays.
My style is relaxed and informal, but effective. School already provides enough structure, and with a relaxed mind, information can be processed more easily. 1 hour sessions multiple times a week is the best way for the information to sink in.

I don't believe in an unteachable student. One of the greatest pleasures I have in teaching is having a breakthrough with a student that has had difficulty. I believe every student has the possibility to meet and exceed expectations with the right teacher! I believe that not every student is the same.
