Presently retired. 25 years of teaching locally at Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne and at ITT in Fort Wayne. Other localities include Idaho, Arizona, and South Carolina. 20 years as an engineer on Government Projects including the Minuteman Missile, Loss of Fluid Test reactor, Roland Missile Project, Parts of the Lunar Excursion Module etc.
My success in tutoring was more visible to me at ITT in the period between 1995 to 2006. I got to know the student's problems with the subject matter and was able to help them more accurately than in the classroom. I was very pleased with the results of this process. The course involved statistics, math, physics, calculus.

I enjoy tutoring those who are in Middle School or High school. I feel as though they tend to have a higher capacity for sustaining attention. Those are unique ages that can really build a foundation for later education. I believe that one-on-one time is essential in learning. I believe the greatest thing about knowledge is the ability to share it. I love to learn, but that is only the first step. The true reward comes in being able to impart that knowledge of someone else. However, each person learns differently.
