I have 10 years in the field of graphic design, and also ten years teaching graphic design in high school. In my ten years teaching, all my students loved my class and I was always the most popular teacher in the school. My enrollment for my classes was always through the roof, and many of my student shave gone on to be successful in the industry. Student achievement went hand in hand with the popularity of the class. I had very few failures, usually there was an attendance problem for the students who failed.
Fairly simple when dealing with computer programs, I teach you the program by going over the tools and techniques of how to use the program, and then I give you projects to complete using that program. The best way to learn computer programs is to use them everyday.

Graphic Design is one of my top subjects! I have been doing my own freelance for years. Most of the stuff that I do on my own is related to music (promoting shows, designing posters for specific event, photography of event). I really love to take a personal approach to each student's learning style, then build course ideas based off of their preferences and goals. In groups, it's good to build trust and friendship to create a safe environment for working. I like to inspire students to work on their skills in the fields they desire as well as applying those practices and foundations in every day life. I enjoy sharing my years of design/animation experience.

I've worked professionally as a motion designer/animator in television for 25 years at multiple studios. I'm well versed in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as Lightwave 3D and Cinema 4D. I've also researched assistive technology and ways to bridge the gap between animation and game learning.
I like to walk the student through software and design basics. Then give them a concept and work their creative problem solving skills. Lots of kids/people can find menus on a computer but lock up when they have to concept a piece.
