I have a relaxed, stress-free teaching style, while staying on task and topic. I make sure the pupils really understand the material by breaking things down to the basics, and reviewing the foundations. After reviewing and application of the concepts, I have my students switch roles and "teach" me the material. I believe if you can explain the material to someone else, you really understand it.

While at Virginia Tech, I dedicated much of my time to volunteering. Here I fell in love with serving others. I break large components into their simplest forms so that a child learns to take things one step at a time and not feel overwhelmed. I have been teaching middle school science for the past eight years at a local Middle School. My endorsement is in biology.
