While I enjoy business, working with children is my passion, hence why I am pursuing my teaching certification. I believe the best way to teach students any skill is to let them have hands on experience with it. As an example, in order to learn business skills, students need to practice the skills and understand their relevance in the real world.

I graduated from a Pennsylvania Systems of Higher Education college with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Physics. The entire time I was enrolled I was a tutor in the Math Assistant Center as one of the top tutors. I was always told I should be a teacher but for now I am on a quest to get my PhD. I am a visual learner and the best way to teach would be to give the learner something he can visually grasp. First if possible demonstrate visually then combine that with numbers and show the proper steps to solve the problem algebraically. Then offer different situations and examples for them to practice.
I tutored Calculus through the Peer tutoring program at my high school and at my College. I enjoy math and enjoy watching others learn it as well.
