As a full time student and a full time employee of the General Electric Company I did not have the time to goof around. So I first like to get to know the student and try to figure out their learning style and teach them according to how they learn. This helps me figure out where the root of the problem is so I can fix it. When a question is asked, I am not going to simply just tell the student the answer. I would want them to think it out and try and figure it out for themselves. I would however guide them in the right direction and even ask them other questions they may know in order for them to figure out the intial problem. I feel that these types of interactions are a more effective way of learning. Also, writing things down helps tremedously because not only are you thinking it, but you're seeing it and reading it as well. I am a very easy person to get along with, and I am also very encouraging. I enjoy helping others whether it's in an academic environment or not.
