I have had a lot of experience in several Georgia school systems. I have taught, student taught, and substituted. I have done long term substituting a couple times. I have tutored several students. I studied education at Columbus State University. I have experience in elementary, middle, and high school. I have the most experience at the elementary and middle school levels though.
My teaching style depends on the students needs. I believe students learn in different ways. I try to make sure my teaching styles fit the students I am working with. I believe that all students can benifit from hands on learning. I enjoy teaching in a hands on manner.

My teaching style is based on the student’s learning style. Each child is different and may require different teaching methods to facilitate learning. Some children are more visual and may require more interactive exercises to learn. I do not believe in spoon-feeding information to children but taking the time to ensure that they fully grasped the concept of a problem and are able to think through a solution on their own. I will work to develop their critical thinking skills and will challenge them, so that they are not just passive learners but active participants in the cognitive process.
