I have work as a para educator and a volunter in a special education classroom setting as well as a special education church ministry. Education is key to a good life.

My teaching style is one where I combine patience, efficiency, technology, variety as well as traditional methods. I believe that you need to keep learning fun and if you mix up different methods then it keeps the aspect of learning from getting boring. If a student gets bored and their mind begins to wander, they will have a much harder time retaining the information you are working so hard to teach. A great example of this would be for teaching children math. The internet has some great resources in helping students to practice their math skills by playing games. This is a great way to add a little fun and also teach important math skills as well.

I taught for twenty five years at the middle school level mostly in a self contained sixth grade classroom. In addition to teaching reading, English, math, science,and social studies, I taught electives is video filming and remedial reading. In my experience as a teacher, I discovered that all students can learn if they are properly motivated.
