A Little Bit About Me...

As a College graduate, I worked very hard to finish my Masters degree in education. I have two degrees, BS in Psychology and a Masters in Special Education K-12. Therefore, my expertise in Helping students with Varying Exceptionalities. In my research, I have learned creative strategies to teach students. During, the last 2 years I have tutored students in basic math, reading, writing, science, and spanish. I am bilingual which is my greatest attribute as an instructor.
My experience as a tutor is with students that have learning and motivational challenges. I make sure that students become engaged in their school work by creating fun lesson plans. As a graduate from both Bellarmine and Sullivan University, I was very head strong about my education. Earning two degrees was very difficult for me due to my learning disabilities. I have Dyslexia, ADHD, and a deficit in Reading Comprehension. I have overcome everything that came my way in my educational path. I have mentored and taught 5th grade children in the bible at Southeast Christian Church for going on two years now and thoroughly enjoy teaching them.
I have always felt the joys working with children. I feel that everyone with learning disabilities can succeed; they just need motivation and perseverance.
