My experience as a tutor is with students that have learning and motivational challenges. I make sure that students become engaged in their school work by creating fun lesson plans. I am fascinated when students learn and improve their basic math and reading skills. Since, these skills are essential for them to find a job in the future. I have always felt the joys working with children. I feel that everyone with learning disabilities can succeed; they just need motivation and perseverance. I thrive to motivate and teach the importance of perseverance to children. I make my environments energetic and positive for children to learn.
As a graduate from both Bellarmine and Sullivan University, I was very head strong about my education. Earning two degrees was very difficult for me due to my learning disabilities. I have Dyslexia, ADHD, and a deficit in Reading Comprehension. I have overcome everything that came my way in my educational path. I have mentored and taught 5th grade children in the bible at Southeast Christian Church for going on two years now and thoroughly enjoy teaching them.
