I have love teaching and working with children since I can remember. I believe and a child needs a good trusting relationship with his teacher in order to learn the objective of the lessons being taught. In trying to build this relationship, I try to let them take the lead in their learning as much as possible and wait to see where I am need to most. I believe that if a child can take the lead in their own learning they will get much more out of what is being taught. A Little Bit About Me...

As a business major I learned alot about the importance of language and communication. I took classes in english, and writing. I was a tutor for over 100 students for 2 years in finance and taght a class twice a week on Microsoft Excel. In high school I volunteered at an elementary school to help children with ADD and behavioral issues for 3 trimesters. I was a staff member at Cedar Badge, a week long leadership training course for scouts, teaching leadership skills.
I like to have visuals. They are important no matter what age. i use powerpoint, pictures, think of stories, and try to get the students involved as much as they can. People either learn, by seeng, doing, or both, so it is good to teach using all of the learning tools.
