I am a math tutor with a college degree in math and a sum total of twelve years experience in tutoring math exclusively to students age 13 to adult. I love to tutor math and see students gain the math knowledge necessary to succeed in their math courses. I believe in incorporating multiple methods of teaching language, and with such a complex topic as learning a second, or even third language I also believe in tailoring said methods to the student's specific needs. For example, if one finds a kindred with music, introducing them to french songs would be one of the stronger ways to accomplish fluency and language recognition. Math Tutor! Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry!

My tutoring style is explaining the concept in the simplest possible terms and then practicing a few problems with the student. Then when I see the client has grasped the concept, I move on. I do not believe in rushing the student because I know how frustrating it is when one does not understand something.
I have tutored algebra 1 and 2, college algebra, intermediate algebra, pre-calculus, and geometry. My best subject is mathematics. On the SAT math section, I scored a 700 with the highest score being 800. When I was a freshman high school, I tutored students older than myself in subjects such as Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry. While still in high school, I took College Algebra at Broward College. I got the highest grade in that class -- an A.
