I believe in good classroom management and organized lesson plans. I set appropriate boundaries and expect the students to follow the rules that are set before them. That being said I try to make the learning as fun as possible but organized. I also try to bring in anything that they are interested in to make them enjoy the subject they are learning. If I can find an example in life they can relate to that will help them learn something I will find it and bring it in. I love working with children and really love math.

My teaching style is to come from a place of respect and caring for the student. I will never strip a student of their dignity. I love teaching and relating to young people. As I work with a student, supporting and encouraging them, I help them move forward in ability and knowledge, as they become more competent and confident, gaining their own momentum.
I teach because I love children. It is very satisfying to help a young person with their studies. I have been in elementary classrooms from Kindergarten to 5th grade and feel comfortable teaching all subjects. I love teaching and excel at engaging students in their work.
