As a graduating senior in the Honors College of The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Chemistry, I am surrounded by opportunities for both learning and teaching. While I complete the last semester of my degree, I am also beginning to take on several teaching positions. I teach from the known to the unknown (i.e. taking a concept that is already known, or an everyday activity, and relating it to new concepts. I believe in an interactive learning environment where I am constantly asking students for their inputs and working through problems with them. I have learned good written skills due to many research papers and laboratory reports.
