I have worked many jobs and I want to dip my feet into to tutoring to see what it is like to help teach people about Computer Technology. I have been in management, computer IT, radio, roofing, janitor, and even fast food. I like to work in big groups and I feel like I have a good speaking voice along with a good attitude to my students. If a student has a problem I will guide them to help and let them understand what they are doing wrong. I am hands on teaching and want the students to understand what each part feels like on a computer.

I believe that the best way for a student to learn is to explain the basics of which subject I am teaching, show a few examples, and then let them discover how to obtain the answers in their own way. It’s very satisfying when I see a student’s mental light click on and their eyes light up in understanding after they figure something out. Positive encouragement is very important too. I have a BA in Creative Writing, which I have put to use not only in my writing but I am a proofreader to several other beginning author’s stories. They rely on me to fix their grammatical, spelling and usage errors so their writing flows more smoothly. Over the last 4-6 years I've had to teach coworkers the intricacies of engine technology (basic hydrocarbon breakdown and nitrogen depleting systems) to basic geometry and electrical circuits ( from creating concentric bends in pipe to large scale automated systems).
