I enjoy teaching children of all ages, particularly on a one-to-one basis. In addition, I learn from the children. I believe a child learns best through individual attention and the opportunity to have those "aha" moments. People of all ages can meet and exceed their potential. After graduating, I worked in two different school systems as a remedial teacher. I even designed a new remedial reading and spelling program for the one school. From 1991-1998, I worked at a Christian elementary school, where I was a librarian, bookkeeper, and substitute teacher. I have always enjoyed working with children and knew I would want a career working with kids to help enhance their futures. While still in high school, I worked after-school tutoring elementary age students in a wide variety of subjects.
