I hold a Doctorate degree in Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Oklahoma City University.
I have five years middle and high school teaching experience with Rocky Mountain International Academy in Montrose, Colorado.
I have taught the following subjects - Latin I, Latin II, Latin III, U.S. History, Colorado History, Great Books, Civics, Economics, Rhetoric, Debate, Drama, Computer Spreadsheets, and Business. Past graduates of the school and my classes have found success in colleges such as Air Force Academy and Colorado School of Mines.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very interactive in the Socratic method. I act as a guide for teaching much as a catalyst for learning. The emphasis in all of my classes is in communication skills and building character. As college prep classes are structured to teach note taking and research and writing skills.
