As a graduate from both Bellarmine and Sullivan University, I was very head strong about my education. Earning two degrees was very difficult for me due to my learning disabilities. I have Dyslexia, ADHD, and a deficit in Reading Comprehension. I have overcome everything that came my way in my educational path. I have mentored and taught 5th grade children in the bible at Southeast Christian Church for going on two years now and thoroughly enjoy teaching them. I have always felt the joys working with children. I feel that everyone with learning disabilities can succeed; they just need motivation and perseverance. Working with children with special needs has allowed me to be able to get to know the student and adjust the curriculum so that the child will be able to benefit the most from! As a communication disorders major I have acquired an understand and love for working with children. During my internship I was able to work one-on-one with children who have language disabilities.
