Experience Summary
As a College graduate, I worked very hard to finish my Masters degree in education. I have two degrees, BS in Psychology and a Masters in Special Education K-12. Therefore, my expertise in Helping students with Varying Exceptionalities. In my research, I have learned creative strategies to teach students. During, the last 2 years I have tutored students in basic math, reading, writing, science, and spanish. I am bilingual which is my greatest attribute as an instructor.
Teaching Style
My experience as a tutor is with students that have learning and motivational challenges. I make sure that students become engaged in their school work by creating fun lesson plans. I am fascinated when students learn and improve their basic math and reading skills. Since, these skills are essential for them to find a job in the future. My goal is for my students to become sucessful in their careers. I belive in changing their old learning styles by using variety in tutoring sessions.
