My name is Eduard Frelikh. I'm math and physics teacher. I do private tutoring for 11 last years. Last 2 years I do it mostly in SpringLight teaching Center (Cupertino). I do classes for conceptual physics, AP physics I, physics C, SAT, physics BOWL, USAPho F=ma contest. Including Thermodynamics, Numerical Methods for Engineers, Mechanics of Materials, Calculus, Differential Equations and more. I had a high GPA in college and was a very hard worker. Usually the way I tutor is the student brings me homework problems or questions about a topic and I walk them through how to solve them.
I like to use a white board when I tutor, it makes it easier to solve many different problems without having to use paper. I also prefer that students bring questions and homework problems to tutor sessions that way I have a better understanding of what they need to learn.

Making a Serious Subject Simple Fun is My Goal!

Majored in Mathematics and Minored in Physics. Receive a BS degree from Cal State Fullerton. I tutored math extensively while going to college. Worked in the aerospace industry as a computer programmer for 10 years. Later on raised a family and helped my Son and Daughter with their Math and Science. I was effective up through the sophomore year of college.
At first, I assess the student's strengths and weaknesses. Addressing the weaknesses I make sure the student knows the definition of terms and work and spend time working to get this in place. I go over text with the student, and address and clear up misunderstanding. I attempt to get the student to work sample problems and help him/her out only as needed. I try to use interesting examples to sustain interest.
