A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BS in business administration with a major in marketing and minor in English. I have been substitute teaching at various times in public schools since 1995. I have taught beginning computer classes to adults and have taught third through fifth grade boys at church. I hold a current substitute teachers license from the state of Alabama. My strongest subjects are history, grammar, reading, literature, drama, and social studies.
I try to put myself in the student's shoes and find which method of teaching can reach the student best. I try to identify the student's strengths and weaknesses and work out a program to help him or her achieve his or her goals. My certification allows me to teach English, drama, speech, and journalism.
