High School Diploma, currently enrolled in the Virginia Commonwealth University Nursing Program. Graduated high school 11th out of a class of 409. Current college GPA 4.0. Strongest in Maths and Sciences, but I also have an interesting "out of the box" take on English. Very strong teaching skills, and experience from tutoring many peers throughout high school.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a BS in Computer Science, with a very strong math minor. It would have been a double major, but third-year theoretical math stopped being fun (and computers were still fun). However, math up to and including first year calculus was both straightforward and mostly fun. I have worked with computers, systems administration and programming, since graduation, but I have lost none of the math I learned as high as high school algebra and geometry and basic calculus.
I enjoy teaching and explaining many things to individuals and small groups, of all ages, although my tutoring experience is somewhat limited. I can communicate in different styles with different people, based on how I see they can learn most effectively. Twenty years experience in engineering related occupations, ten years in teaching and academia, and some form of counseling since undergraduate school in early 1980's.
