All through out Junior High School I did tutoring in math, science and English. I also volunteered to help the Mentally disabled kids in my school, I helped these kids by taking walks,playing games and reading to them. In High School, I was privileged to travel to Ireland with thee Biotech Academy and we taught 9 schools in 3 days about hands on Biotech activities such as teaching them about DNA using bracelets to show them what it would look like.

It is NEVER too late to learn, nor right to learn only 1 way

I utilize kinesthetic learning and encourage parental involvement within the tutoring sessions.
I summarized my basic experience in the Policy Statement. To expand on that, I have over 20 apps on an android tablet that are for clients who need early intervention in the areas of educational subjects, speech/breathing techniques, social and emotional recognition and assistive communication. I have a child safety filter infiltrated into the device so that the clients receive only what is appropriate to their learning. They cannot access the settings on the device, nor the regular web. I honor parents' input on what they think is appropriate for their child.

My comments on tutoring Musical : I strongly prefer working with "older Youth"...that is,age 13 and above. I can teach beginners to intermediate music, in a variety of styles.

Flexible. I am trained classically and appreciate the need for the learning of that technique, but am more than willing to accommodate the student's varied musical interests and tastes.
I have over 25 years of experience in the music field, and have worked as a professional pianist in churches, theaters, schools, and colleges. I accompany choirs, private vocalists, voice classes, juries, recitals, and musical theater productions. My method is to reach students exactly where there at and use methods that would stimulate all types of learners . Once I was teaching a group of sixth graders who would be entering Algebra soon. I gave them a true life math example. Our equasion; a party with the number of students, quantity of different items and costs. When we devided the items their costs with the number of students we came up with how much each student had to pitch in. In this example I had some items that were to be used and they were able to touch them. I also told them very clearly what was going on while I was writing it all down. Because I had such a hard time learning and focusing in a regimented, institutional-type learning setting in school, and yet was a brilliant child, I teach extremely well in a relational more relaxed approach. Rather than "shove information down throats" I am interested in each individual, and to get to know their personality and learning style.
