I have been involved in music, singing, playing instruments and performing for many decades. I studied music history, music theory and musical performance in High School & College. While teaching, I began my teaching certification through the Maryland State Department of Education, where I completed a course called Inclusion: Making it Happen. I believe that the best way to make sure somebody remembers something is to have them discover it for themselves. My teaching style is centered around this. I enjoy asking guiding questions to point a student in the right direction, and filling in the blanks afterward.
