I have worked with children and families for the past twenty years in various settings. I have a BS in social science from Longwood University and a Master's of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. My career and experience entails training others, instructing in a collegiate setting, writing assessments, reports and maintaining vital documentation on client progress.
I love teaching and working with all populations. I am patient and flexible in my teaching styles. For just over a decade I have been involved in some form of peer education or mentoring. As a senior in high school, I tutored students in mathematics and science. As an ACS Certified Chemist, I have been exposed to upper level mathematics, chemistry and physics, but am still required to use writings skills in preparing various reports and papers.
