I do believe that teaching students depends on the types of students you teach. You have to consider their learning style. This includes different teaching strategies suited for your students. His is so important as far as what type of assessments that should be given in order to evaluate whether your students are ready for any final test to be given such as Standardized Test like SAT, SOL, College Board Exam.

I have taken pretty much all the courses that leads up to calc 2. I always struggled in math in high school so I completely understand what its like being lost in a math course. I try to find the best way to relate the given information to the student. Not everyone learns the same way. I will find what makes the most sense to the student and help them understand the given information. Throughout my education, I sometimes just wanted a different approach to the information. I would ask others their opionions and things all of a sudden were clear. That is what I want for my students.
