I have helped in a 6 grade math class twice totaling over 50 hours. I helped with Mrs. Wilson's class at St. Elizabeth Seton in 2009 and 2011. I helped her teach some students math concepts and helped them with their homework problems. I have also tutored one 6th grader for one semester 2 times a week. Prior to changing my undergraduate major to Geography, I was an elementary education major. I have always enjoyed working with students; however, at the time I wanted to try something different and is how I ended up working as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service (NPS). My experiences with NPS have allowed me to teach in an informal setting, by educating the public about their national parks. I also have the opportunity to present curriculum based education programs in grades K-5 about different aspects in NPS. A Little Bit About Me...

I have attended Chadron State College for a few years completeing all of my generals and some elementary education classes. I have also tutored students in Chadron, NE during the Camp Kenwood Summer School. I have tutored students and help them excel in all areas of study and feel that I have made a difference in each of their lives.
I have always had a passion for teaching. While attending college I had the opportunity to work with younger children.
