I am truly passionate about working with children and helping them learn. I am patient with each child I work with. I hold them accountable for their own learning and success. My professional experience includes teaching remedial reading, private tutoring of elementary level students, volunteering as an adult literacy tutor, and teaching English as a second language. I also home schooled my three children, teaching each to read when they could not learn in school. My children are all now in college, the eldest studying for his Master's at Boston University.
