I am an Orton-Gillingham certified and Barton Advanced certified dyslexia specialist with over a decade of experience working with children and adults who have dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. Writing Skills is one of my top subjects! I regularly produce and edit technical documents, but also have written hundreds of paid creative and instructional pieces.

I received my B.S. degree in Biology, and am knowledgeable about many sub-disciplines, including life sciences (plants/animals), genetics, evolution, and anatomy. As a tutor I have had to adjust my teaching style depending on the type of student I am working with. What works for one student may not necessarily work with another. For example, if a student has a lackadaisical attitude, I will do what I can to try to motivate him/her.
