I am an Orton-Gillingham certified and Barton Advanced certified dyslexia specialist with over a decade of experience working with children and adults who have dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. I also know Lindamood-Bell(r) and several other programs. I provide assessment/screening for learning challenges, and recommend programs/approaches that will be successful for that student, homeschool support, and referrals to other tutors as needed.

Teaching Style

I work on fostering independence and I am understanding and compassionate. I also like to play games and encourage my students to have fun while learning! As someone with a learning disability and anxiety myself, I understand kids who have these struggles.

My Hobbies

I love coffee, animals (I have 2 cats and 1 dog), playing board games, Star Trek, and cross-country skiing.
