Connecting chemistry and physics principles with analogous real life examples is the key for students to become both interested and proficient in these subjects. Attaining two degrees has opened my eyes to many different teaching styles and ways of learning. I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree.
