This is my second time tutoring and my first time was a great experience. It was stressful a first but after I formed a bond with those I tutored, everything else was simple. In high school, Math as never my strongest subjects, and it still isn't unless its Elementary Math. I had to take ALGEBA 1 three times! Any History subject and Language Arts is my strongest areas. Throughout the research, I gathered many skills one being creative in learning, as well as, presenting new material and teaching it to fellow peers and professors. Despite a demanding, accelerated academic schedule, during my three years at a competitive private college I voluntarily tutored underprivileged elementary students. In earning my BA in Sociology/Anthropology I became well versed on understanding people from a variety of cultural and economic backgrounds. I also have a strong background in the social sciences including social studies, history and language arts. My college major also required that I write numerous papers and helped me to develop a strong writing style, as well as a keen understanding of grammar.
