I love teaching. I earned my BA before I was old enough to vote. While my classmates were in his/her senior year, I was teaching. Eventually I earned my M.Ed. in Reading, then started School Administration and Adult Education. In all these fields I find similar necessary skills: patience, co-operation among staff and colleagues, knowledge of subject matter, communication with the community and parents and a well defined curriculum. Moreover, I am a published author and a former writer with St. Louis Globe Democrat - Suburban Journals. As a favor to my students, I often evaluate papers for submission. A Little Bit About Me...

It has been my experience that each student has his/her individuals needs and that each learns differently. Thus, I make a conscious effort to sit down privately with each of my students so that we can address his/her concerns effectively and put together a constructive plan to improve his/her skill set.
As a tutor with Webster University's student literacy corps, I worked with individuals, pre-K-adult, on reading, literacy, and writing skills. I held this position for two years along with a summer position tutoring Algebra and French with HEC Upward Bound, which service at-risk youth. I found both programs extremely enjoyable and found that all of my students were eager to learn and improve their skill set.
